Cops: Grand Larceny Suspect Ripped-Off Victims At ATMs Around The City

NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD has asked the public for help in locating a suspect wanted in connection with a series of grand larcenies that have taken place around the city.

In a string of crimes that began on May 10, at 5:50 p.m., at a Chase Bank located at 260 Columbus Avenue, police say the suspect used banking information to steal $1,000 from victims' accounts at ATMs.

The spree continued at the Bank of America at 224 West 4th Street, on May 17, at 3:00 p.m. Police say the suspect struck again at an ATM inside of a Citibank at 395 6th Avenue, on May 31, at 2:34 p.m., and most recently at the First Republic Bank at 1775 Broadway.

The suspect has been described as a white male between the ages of 25-30-years-old, he is 5'10"-6'0" with a slime build, a beard, and glasses.
