Cops: App Snapped Photo Of Man After Phone Stolen On Subway Train
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A straphanger who fell asleep on the subway awoke to find that someone had cut open his pockets and stolen his wallet and cellphone, police said.
Police have released a photo of a man that was taken by an app on the phone while he was trying to unlock it.
The theft occurred around 3 a.m. on Dec. 8 on a southbound No. 4 train. The victim boarded the train at 101st Street in Manhattan and woke up at the Borough Hall stop in Brooklyn.
