Cops: 2 Teens Arrested For Making Terroristic Threat Against Massapequa H.S.

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Two former high school students were arrested for making a threat against a school in Massapequa on Tuesday, authorities said.

A Massapequa High School Dean received a phone call from a concerned parent that Richard Delpesce 17, and Corinne Terris, 19, of Massapequa, made threats toward the school via Facebook, police said.

Nassau County Police were notified, and after an investigation, determined that no students were ever endangered.

Delpesce and Terris surrendered and were arrested Wednesday.

They are charged with making a terroristic threat.

Terris was also charged with criminal solicitation in the fourth-degree.

They are scheduled to be arraigned on Thursday at First District Court in Hempstead.
