Cops: 1 Killed, 2 Injured In East Williamsburg Shooting

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police were looking for a gunman Sunday who shot three people in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn, killing one.

Police officers responded to a 911 call at 12:30 a.m. Sunday at the Bushwick Houses at 131 Moore St. They said they found 24-year-old Jahmal Jerome, of Brooklyn, with a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 47-year-old woman was also shot in the leg, and a 50-year-old woman suffered a graze wound to the head.

They were transported to Bellevue Hospital, where they were both listed in stable condition, police said.

No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
