Police: 3 Suspects Sought In Coney Island Robbery

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are trying to identify three suspects who they said attacked and robbed a man on Coney Island.

It happened back on June 15 inside a building in the area of Surf Avenue and West 33rd Street.

Police said the suspects were following a 66-year-old man when one of them punched the man in the head while another tried to take his cell phone from his waistband. The third suspect then tried to take items out of the man's pockets, police said.

The victim fought off the men and the three fled empty-handed, police said.

The suspects were seen on surveillance video.
