Commuter Alert: Midtown Tunnel Closures Begin This Week For MTA Paving

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Some drivers may find it harder to get through the Midtown Tunnel this month, as the MTA works on repaving the roads.

The Manhattan-bound tube will be closed starting at 11 p.m. Friday through 5 a.m. on Monday, April 19.

The Queens-bound tune will close the following weekend, from April 23 to April 26.

The MTA says one tunnel will stay open with one lane in each direction during the closures.
