Comedian Judy Gold Stops By The Couch

NEW YORK (WLNY) -- Emmy Award winning actress and comedian, Judy Gold, is back on the off-Broadway stage in "DISASTER! A 1970's Disaster Movie Musical."

The musical takes place in 1979 in New York City and features songs and disasters from the 70s.

The show is about a group of people heading out for the grand opening of Manhattan's first floating casino and discotheque, but their night of boogie fever will turn into a, you guessed it, disaster, according to the website.

"It's a really campy show about the disaster films of the 70s, it's family-friendly, it's so funny, I have people who have come five times," Gold said.
