Police: Man Beaten, Critically Injured In College Point, Queens Fight
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police were searching for a suspect Wednesday night, after a man was beaten and critically injured during a fight in College Point, Queens.
Around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in a park near College Point Boulevard and 14th Avenue, the 21-year-old victim was assaulted during a quarrel, police said.
The man was taken to NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition with severe head trauma, police said.
The suspect was described as a black male in his 20s, standing about 6 feet tall and wearing blue jeans and a black shirt, police said. He fled the location, police said.
It was not known what the quarrel between the two men was about.
