Officials: Jamaican Man Found With Cocaine In Underwear At JFK International Airport

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - A Jamaican man flying into John F. Kennedy airport was found with about a pound of cocaine hidden in his underwear, Customs and Border Patrol agents said.

Romario Lewis faces federal narcotics smuggling charges.

Lewis flew in on Apr. 16 and "exhibited numerous signs of nervousness" when customs agents were inspecting his suitcase, officials said.

A subsequent search turned up two packages of cocaine in his groin area, officials said. The cocaine was worth more than $19,000, according to authorities.
