Police: Child Injured When Car, NJ TRANSIT Bus Collide In Clifton

CLIFTON, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- A child was taken to the hospital Wednesday morning after a car collided with a NJ TRANSIT bus in Clifton, New Jersey.

Clifton police said the vehicle was headed eastbound on Allwood Road near Windsor Road around 8:36 a.m. when it struck the NJ TRANSIT bus. The bus had passengers on board, but it's unclear how many.

Police said an 11-year-old inside the vehicle that struck the bus suffered a non-life threatening head injury and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
