Clif Bar Recalls 3 Energy Bar Varieties Over Listeria Concerns

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Clif Bar & Company is recalling three varieties of their energy bars over concerns of possible listeria contamination.

The California-based energy bar company is recalling their  "Nuts & Seeds" energy bars, "Sierra Trail Mix" energy bars, and "Mojo Mountain Mix" trail mix bars after reports that sunflower kernels distributed their supplier, SunOpta, were possibly contaminated with the bacteria.

According to the Food and Drug Administration, the products listed in the recall were sold nationwide. Clif Bar is asking anyone who purchased the products to throw them away.
