Police: Man Dies After Crashing Into Dry Cleaners In The Bronx

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork)-- A 37-year-old man was killed after crashing into a dry cleaners Saturday evening in the Bronx.

The accident happened around 9:30 p.m. on Allerton Avenue and Barrnes Avenue. Officers discovered a man who was unconscious and unresponsive with trauma to his body, police said.

EMS transported the victim to Jacobi Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators said the man was operating a black 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe when he struck two unoccupied parked cars before striking a light pole and then colliding into the business.

The victim's identification has not yet been released. NYPD are currently investigating.
