NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Black Friday is an especially exciting day for music lovers and collectors.

On this particular Friday, they can sell limited amounts of vinyl and cassette music-- but only on this day.

"Ninety percent of LPs, but there's even a few cassettes," Stu Goldbreg of Mr. Chepo's Records on Long Island said.

"There's 45s, there's 10 inches, and there could be a special pressing of a Hendrix piece that has never been out on record ever," he said.

Goldberg told WCBS 880's Long Island Bureau Chief Mike Xirinachs it's the older stuff that's hot these days.
