NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Before dozens of Citi Bike docking stations begin popping up along the Upper West Side, City Councilwoman Helen Rosenthal said they want to hear from the people who will be affected by them.

"...Who experience the street conditions everyday, who are really going to know where the docking stations should go and where they shouldn't," Rosenthal said.

The expansion could reach as far as Harlem, WCBS 880's Marla Diamond reported.

"There is tremendous interest in it. We're really excited to make it work," Community Board Chairwoman Elizabeth Caputo said.
