Citi Bike Bringing Pedal-Assisted E-Bikes Back To NYC, Braking Problem Reportedly Fixed

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – New York City's electric bikes are coming back and will be hitting the streets this winter.
Citi Bike's pedal-assisted bicycles were pulled due to safety concerns over issues with brakes and batteries.
The company says the issues have been resolved.
It plans to initially launch several hundred e-bikes and then gradually ramp up to a larger fleet.
