Veteran Long Branch, N.J. Police Officer Christopher Walls Accused Of Operating Meth Lab At Home

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A 19-year veteran police officer in Long Branch, New Jersey has been arrested for allegedly operating a meth lab at his home.

Officers were called to Christopher Walls' house Saturday night for a domestic disturbance. But when they got there investigators say another resident in the home tipped them off and they found evidence of a meth lab in his basement and shed.

Walls, 50, has been suspended without pay. His most serious charge carries up to 20 years in prison.
