Child Care Center In Sandy Hook, N.J. Evacuated Due To Bomb Threat

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Someone called in a bomb threat to a child care center Wednesday, authorities said.

Sandy Hook Child Care was evacuated at around 2 p.m. after the threat was made.

The facility accepts children from 6 weeks to 5 years old.

All the children were safely evacuated.

Authorities determined there was no bomb and the "all clear" was given.

National Park Rangers, Sea Bright Police, Highland Police and the Monmouth County Sheriff's Office are investigating the threat.
