Three Teens Arrested After Mother Pushing Newborn Is Mugged In Central Park
NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- A mother was pushing her newborn baby in a stroller in Central Park when she was robbed by a trio of teens on Wednesday, police said.
"Very brazen," Judy told 1010 WINS' Andrew Falzone.
It happened around noon. Police say two 19-year-old men and a 14-year-old girl made off with the mother's purse after shoving her to the ground.
Lynn said she'll think twice about walking through the park.
"From a lot of years ago it's become safer, but I don't know about recently," she said.
Police apprehended the suspects, charges were pending Wednesday night.
