Bicyclist Critically Injured In Central Park Accident

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A bicyclist was in critical condition Wednesday evening after an accident in Central Park.

The cyclist was biking in the East Drive at 100th Street in Central Park around 6:05 p.m., and he tried to swerve out of the way of a jogger police said.

The cyclist lost control and went over his handlebars, police said.

He was taken to Mount Sinai St. Luke's Hospital, where he was reported in critical condition, police said.
