1 firefighter injured battling Long Island house fire

CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. -- A Long Island firefighter is recovering after battling a raging house fire.

It started around 2:45 p.m. Wednesday on Palm Street in Central Islip.

The fire fully engulfed the home, and it took about an hour to get under control.

Thankfully, everyone got out OK.

The Suffolk County Arson Squad is investigating the cause.
