Celine Dion's Husband, Long Time Manager Rene Angelil, Dead At 73
LAS VEGAS (CBSNewYork/AP) -- Rene Angelil, Celine Dion's husband and manager, has died in Las Vegas.
He was 73.
Dion confirmed the sad news on Twitter.

"Rene Angelil, 73, passed away this morning as his home in Las Vegas after a long and courageous battle against cancer," the family's representative said in a statement. "The family requests that their privacy be respected at the moment; more details will be provided at a later time."
The couple married in 1994. They have three children, 14-year-old son, Rene Charles, and 5-year-old twins Eddy and Nelson.
Angelil has three children from two previous marriages -- Anne-Marie, Patrick and Jean-Pierre.
