Celebrity Dog Groomer Offers Do-It-Yourself Tips

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Sunday is Father's Day, and some may be celebrating with their honorary furry kids.

Celebrity dog groomer Jorge Bendersky says there's no better way to show your pet some love than by grooming.

In an in-studio interview with CBS2's Diane Macedo, Bendersky also offered up some tips on how to groom your dog at home.

"Grooming is the best way for early detection of most of their health issues," Bendersky explained. "And it's the way you connect. It's the way that mama lion connects with baby lion. That's nature's way to show love."
