5/18 CBS2 Monday Morning Weather Headlines

Monday, Monday...there will be some folks singin' the blues today with clouds, areas of fog, and some drizzle/isolated showers. Clouds and winds off the water will keep our temps down today, only looking at a high of 70 degrees. While it's way cooler than yesterday, it's actually right near normal this time of year.

Tomorrow will be a bit warmer, with a high of 75 in NYC. There will be another chance for showers and also thunderstorms. As a matter of fact, a few storms could be locally strong, possibly briefly severe with hail and damaging wind. Keep it tuned for updates on the chances for dangerous storms!

The payoff arrives Wednesday right through the rest of the week with a return to sunshine, dry conditions, and low humidity. Temperatures will be in the low & mid 70s through the rest of the week, with a warming trend heading into the holiday weekend!
