CBS 2: Queens School Bus Crash Leaves 7 Children, 1 Adult Injured

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Seven children and one adult were injured Monday afternoon when a school bus slammed into a pole in Bellerose, Queens.

The crash happened around 4:15 p.m. at Braddock and Hillside avenues in Queens, Joe Biermann reported from Chopper 2. A mini-school bus was involved.

The FDNY EMS told CBS 2 seven children and one adult were hurt.

None of their injuries were life-threatening, but the adult suffered the most serious injuries, Biermann reported.

A police investigation was under way as of the 5 p.m. hour.
