Cash Is King For Metrocard Refills Saturday Morning
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Subway riders needing to refill their metrocards on Saturday morning should go to the ATM first.
The MTA is upgrading the software used for credit and debit cards so only cash will be accepted at machines.
Crews will be working on the upgrade from 1 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
