James Corden Joins Lin-Manuel Miranda, Broadway Stars On 'Carpool Karaoke'

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) --  "Late Late Show" host James Corden headed to Broadway on Monday, for a special edition of "Carpool Karaoke" just in time for the Tony Awards.

Corden, who will be hosting this year's show on June 12,  was joined by "Hamilton" star Lin-Manuel Miranda and Broadway stars Jane Krakowski, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Audra McDonald.

"Hamilton" grabbed a record-breaking 16 Tony Award nominations this year, making it one of the biggest hauls in Broadway history and a big nod to the show's colossal fame.

This newest installment is one of many in the wildly successful series. Big-name stars like Gwen Stefani, Adele,  Jason Derulo, Iggy AzealaJustin Bieber and even R&B legend Stevie Wonder have all stopped by for a musical car ride.

In March, Corden landed his own "Carpool Karaoke" hour-long prime time special, featuring Jennifer Lopez and highlighting some of the best performances throughout the past year.
