Car Slams Into Garage At New Hyde Park Firehouse, Two Trucks Damaged
NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- Two fire trucks were damaged when a driver crashed into a firehouse on Long Island.
A Toyota Prius rammed through the garage door of the firehouse in New Hyde Park, and hit the trucks.
The driver also ran over two street signs before slamming into the building.
The woman had a snake and a dog in the car at the time of the crash, police said.
One of the fire trucks will be taken out of service for repairs.
