Car Drives Onto LIRR Platform, Dangles Over Tracks

MINEOLA, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) – LIRR riders got a scare when a car ended up on a train platform Saturday.

Police said the driver was confused and drove up onto the edge of the platform in Mineola, leaving the front end of the car dangling over the tracks.

Trains in the area were delayed and canceled while the car was removed.

No one was hurt.
