Car Crashes Into Electrical Pole In Clifton, New Jersey

CLIFTON, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- Several people were rushed to the hospital after a car crashed into an electrical pole in New Jersey early Saturday morning.

According to officials, a car veered off the road and ended up in the woods after crashing into an electrical pole on Color Road in Clifton at around 3:30 a.m., CBS2's Magdalena Doris reported.

Several electrical wires were brought down during the crash, causing the car and surrounding area to go up in flames.

Four people inside the vehicle were pulled out by emergency crews and taken to local hospitals. The condition of the victims were not immediately known.

Officials are still investigating the cause of the crash.
