Cab Fire Erupts On Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A New York City taxi erupted into flames late Thursday afternoon on the upper level of the Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge.

CBS New York Traffic reported the cab was on fire on the upper level of the bridge on the Queens-bound side.

The fire forced traffic disruptions in the area.

Firefighters had extinguished the blaze as of 4:36 p.m. All but the rear of the yellow cab had been destroyed.

No one was injured in the blaze.
