MTA Bus Hits Pedestrian In The Bronx

NEW YORK -- A city bus hit a pedestrian late Saturday night, leaving a 40-year-old man in critical condition.

The incident happened shortly before midnight as the man was crossing 167th Street in the Bronx, CBS2 reported.

The man was apparently run over by a back wheel after stepping off the curb.

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority said the bus involved was on the Bx11 route, though it was marked Bx35.
