Police Search For 2 Suspects After Man Is Stabbed In Brownsville, Brooklyn Subway Stop

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Friday were searching for two suspects in the stabbing of a man in an elevated subway station in Brownsville, Brooklyn.

The 20-year-old victim was standing in the mezzanine area of the Sutter Avenue-Rutland Road No. 3 train station around 3:25 p.m. Thursday, when the suspects came up and one of them stabbed him twice, police said.

The man was wounded in his torso and left arm, police said. He was rushed to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center.

The suspects ran off. The man who stabbed the victim was last seen wearing a red and white jacket.

Police have released surveillance photos and video.
