Cops: Man Shoots Victim In Leg At Brooklyn Subway Station

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- An unidentified man shot a 35-year-old victim in the leg during an altercation at a subway station in Brooklyn, police said.

According to police, the suspect got into an argument with the victim at the Livonia Avenue "L" station in Canarsie. During the incident, the suspect pulled out his weapon, shot the victim in the leg and then fled, police said.

The victim was taken to Brookdale Hospital with non-fatal injuries, police said.

The incident occurred at around 12:50 a.m. on Dec. 17, according to police.

Police describe the suspect to be 5'6"-5'8" and between 20 to 30 years old. He was last seen wearing a red hoodie, a white t-shirt and jeans.
