Brooklyn Shooting Victim Dies After Driving Himself To NYPD Station
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) -- A 28-year-old man was shot in the chest and was able to drive himself to a Brooklyn police station before he died of his injuries, according to the NYPD.
The man was shot just before 8 p.m. Thursday on Flatbush Avenue and drove himself a few blocks to the 63rd Precinct stationhouse on Brooklyn Avenue, police said. The man was taken to Kings County Hospital, where he later died.
Authorities didn't immediately identify the victim or disclose details of what led up to the shooting.
No arrests have been made.
The shooting remains under investigation.
