Police: Assailant Punched Man, 61, In Face At McDonald's

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD was searching Tuesday for an assailant who punched a 61-year-old man in a Brooklyn McDonald's late last month.

Around 9 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, the victim was coming out of a restroom at the McDonald's at 840 Atlantic Ave. in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn when he became involved in a quarrel with the assailant, police said.

The suspect then punched the victim repeatedly in the face before leaving the McDonald's, police said.

The victims suffered an injury to the left side of his face, police said.

The suspect was described as a black male around 35 years old, standing about 6 feet tall with a medium build.
