Police Seek Suspect In Robbery Of Livery Cab Driver In Brooklyn

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are looking for a suspect who they robbed a livery cab driver in Brooklyn.

It happened around 3 p.m. Saturday. Police said the livery driver picked up a man at the Par-Central Motor Inn on Parsons Boulevard in Jamaica, Queens.

When the cab arrived at Bushwick Avenue, the suspect ordered the driver to pull over and demanded cash, police said. The man took the money and fled on foot westbound down Woodbine Street toward Broadway, police said.

The driver was not injured.

Police said the suspect was seen on the cab's surveillance camera.

He's described by investigators as a 35-year-old Hispanic man, about 5'6" tall with a bald head and a beard. He has a tattoo on his right wrist.
