Cold Move: Thieves Steal More Than $1,100 Worth Of Ice Cream, Popsicles In Brooklyn

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - More than $1,100 worth of ice cream products - and $2,200 in cash - was stolen from ice cream trucks left in a parking lot in Brooklyn over the weekend, police said.

The trucks were parked in a lot on Sackett Street near the Columbia Street Waterfront in Brooklyn overnight Sunday when the hungry thief - or thieves - broke in.

Ice cream popsicles, cones, various ice cream mixes and equipment - along with a $400 television - were all stolen.

To top it all off, the marshmallow and almond toppings were also stolen, police said.
