NYPD: Chinese Food Delivery Man Assaulted, Robbed In Brooklyn

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are trying to identify two men who they said attacked and robbed a Chinese food delivery man in Brooklyn.

It happened around 10:15 p.m. Tuesday in the lobby of an apartment building on New York Avenue in East Flatbush.

Police said the victim was pulled into an apartment by two men. The men then hit him several times in the face before stealing his phone, his wallet and the Chinese food he was going to deliver.

The suspects then fled.

The victim suffered lacerations and abrasions to his face and was taken to the hospital.

Police said the suspects were seen on surveillance video.

Investigators described both of the suspects as black men around the age of 20. One was seen wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants and dark sneakers. The other was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, light-colored pants and white sneakers.
