15 People Injured In Brooklyn Deck Collapse

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Over a dozen people were hurt after a deck collapsed at a historic mansion in Bushwick, Brooklyn, early Sunday morning.

The FDNY told CBS2 about 50 people were partying on the second-floor deck at 670 Bushwick Ave. at midnight when it gave way.

Investigators said 15 people were rushed to hospitals. 1010 WINS' Roger Stern reported the worst injury was a broken leg.

None of their conditions are considered life-threatening.

The building is more than a century old and fire officials believe the balcony was rotted out.

City inspectors will examine the rest of the building.

The building was designated a city landmark three years ago.
