Police: Suspect Robbed Man At Knifepoint On D Train In Brooklyn

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Tuesday released a surveillance image of a suspect they believe robbed a man at knifepoint in a subway train in Brooklyn.

Police said around 5:15 a.m. this past Wednesday, the 45-year-old man was on a D Train approaching the Fort Hamilton Parkway station in Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn when the suspect pulled a knife on him.

The suspect took the man's Samsung cellphone and ran off, police said.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic male in his mid-20s, standing 5 feet 4 to 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 160 to 180 pounds, with short black hair. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and tan cargo pants, police said.
