Boy, 15, Struck By Motorcycle In East Flatbush, Brooklyn

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A 15-year-old boy was struck by a motorcycle Tuesday afternoon in East Flatbush, Brooklyn.

Police said around 4:50 p.m., the motorcyclist – a 30-year-old man – was heading north on East 43rd Street near Church Avenue when he struck the boy.

The boy was rushed to Kings County Hospital Center in critical condition, police said.

The motorcyclist remained on the scene and was taken to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center. He was expected to survive, police said.

It was not known whether the boy was in the crosswalk when he was struck, or if there would be any charges.
