Five Men Wanted In Deadly Assault In Brooklyn

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Five men are being sought in connection with a deadly assault in Brooklyn.

The suspects kicked and punched 38-year-old Michael Brown in front of a Utica Avenue deli around 4 a.m. Saturday.

EMS responded to the scene, where the victim refused medical attention, police said.

Later that day, EMS was called to Brown's house, where the victim was found semi-conscious and spitting up blood, police said.

Brown was taken to Interfaith Hospital, where he died.

The Medical Examiner's Office will determine the cause of death.

The investigation is ongoing.
