Woman Found Stabbed To Death In Bronx Building

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) -- Police responding to a call about a foul odor coming from a Bronx building discovered a woman's stabbed body.

Authorities say officers went to the building at 69 West 225th Street in Marble Hill around 4 p.m. Tuesday. They found the 36-year-old woman. She had stab wounds to her chest and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The city's medical examiner will determine the exact cause of death. The woman's identity has not been released.
