NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) -- A man and woman died Monday from an apparent murder-suicide in a Bronx apartment, police said.

Police officers responded to a report of shots being fired in an apartment on East 159th street just before 1 p.m.

When they arrived, they found Davida Grant, 42, with a gunshot wound to her chest. Charles Addison, 47, was also found with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, according to the police.
