NYPD: Bronx Mother Charged After Threatening Infant Son

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A Bronx woman has been arrested after police said she threatened her baby boy.

Alexis Jabbour, 20, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, reckless endangerment and aggravated harassment, police said.

Police put out an alert for 7-month-old Nathaniel Jabbour on Wednesday after investigators said she sent her estranged boyfriend an image of their son with a knife to his throat and other alarming text messages.

The man told police that Jabbour took their son after a dispute on June 19, authorities said.

Jabbour and the baby were found safe later Wednesday and she was taken into custody.
