Police Respond To Possible Hostage Situation In The Bronx

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - The NYPD turned out in force Monday morning following reports of a possible hostage situation in the Bronx.

A person wanted for domestic assault was believed to be barricaded with two children in the Bronxdale Houses on Noble Avenue & 172nd Street, CBS2's Jim Smith reported.

Footage from the scene showed police taking a man from the home in handcuffs.

No injuries have been reported.
