Bronx Fire Leaves At Least 1 Injured

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A fire in the Bronx on Sunday morning left at least one person injured, officials said.

The fire broke out on Metcalf Avenue in Clason Point around 5:46 a.m. and was extinguised by 6:11 a.m., fire officials told WCBS 880.

Fire officials said the blaze was contained to the first floor of the building. One person was transported to Jacobi Medical Center with minor injuries, while another refused medical attention, they said.

1010 WINS' Glenn Schuck reported that a domestic dispute might have led to the fire. Fire officials said they are still investigating. The NYPD declined to provide information about the incident to WCBS 880 on Sunday morning.
