Police: Delivery Man Assaulted, Robbed By Group Of 3 In Bronx

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork)-- A food delivery man was assaulted and robbed by a group of three in the Bronx, police said.

The 48-year-old man was making a food delivery to 2860 Jerome Avenue at around 10 p.m. on August 10 when three men stole his bike from the building, police said. When exiting the building, the man was approached by the suspects, who then began punching him and robbing him of $300 and his cell phone, according to the report.

The three men fled northbound on Jerome Avenue. Police said the victim refused medical attention.

The first suspect is described as a 25-year-old Hispanic man, 6 feet tall, and 170 pounds. The second suspect is described as an 18-year-old Hispanic man, 5 feet 9 inches tall and 160 pounds. The third suspect is described as an 18-year-old man, 5 feet 9 inches tall.
