NYPD: Video Shows Gunpoint Robbery Of Delivery Man In The Bronx

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are searching for a man who they say was seen on surveillance video robbing a delivery man at gunpoint in the Bronx.

It happened around 1 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 20 inside the vestibule of a building on Dekalb Avenue.

The suspect, who in the video is seen holding an umbrella and a gun, follows the delivery man into the building and demands money, police said.

As the suspect is leaving the building with $60 police said he stole from the delivery man, he drops the umbrella for just a moment and his image was caught on the video, CBS2's Magdalena Doris reported.

Investigators say the 54-year-old delivery man did not fight back and was not hurt in the exchange.

Police describe the suspect as a Hispanic man between the ages of 25 and 35, 5'8" to 5'10" tall and was seen wearing a black baseball hat, a black leather jacket and black pants.
