Missing Bronx Boy, 7 Months, Found Safe

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A 7-month-old Bronx boy was reported missing Wednesday evening, but the alert was later canceled after he was found safe.

Nathaniel Jabbour was described as a white male, 1 foot 5 inches tall and 20 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Around 2:50 p.m., police were called to the Administration of Child Services, at 2501 Grand Concourse in the Bronx, where they were met by a 25-year-old man, the NYPD said.

The man told officers that his estranged girlfriend had taken their son to parts unknown following a quarrel on Friday, June 19, police said.

On Wednesday, the suspect allegedly sent the man a picture of the boy with a knife to his throat, and other alarming text messages, police said.

By 9:08 p.m., the boy had been found safe and the missing persons alert was canceled, officials told CBS2. Details were not immediately available.
